Freeze on DigiSystem INIT during boot or when launching an app, or DAE errors when you try to playback or record in Pro Tools on a System Accelerator card.
The SysAxe card is not compatible with a PPC Computer!If experiencing this problem with a 68k computer:- Make sure the jumpers on the Expansion Chassis card are removed when using a SysAxe in the same system.- Make sure Pro Tools SysAxe 2.37 (with A/ROSE 1.2) or later is used.- Check the Expansion Chassis Slot ID settings. They should be set for the PPC not matter what Mac is used.- check to see that the SysAxe SCSI chain does not connect back to the Mac’s SCSI connector.
