How do edit and paste Logic files in smaller increments.. when it always Snaps to Grid?

There are 3 ways to edit your clips a little tighter in Logic

WAY 1) you can highlight the file in question and go up to the top directory where it says WINDOWS and choose the EVENT LIST
when you open this window, the file in question will be highlighted and you alter the space of this file in smaller increments by changing the 3rd and 4th number in the locater address

WAY 2) By increasing or decreasing the size of the file by using your Zoom tools to go horizontal or vertical – therefore increasing the ticks that you can move the file by

WAY 3) or lastly , click and hold the file in question – then push Control and Shift – and this enables the file move between the grid
