Digital Performers “Control Surface Setup” does not show “HUI” as a Hardware option Problems getting Digital Performer to recognize the HUI or the Motormix (using the HUI driver)
Digital Performer 2.72 and higher requires the HUI driver version 1.0.1 . DP2.72 originally came with the original version (v1.0). Altough properly installed, it may not show up as an option in DP.
– Download the HUI Driver v1.0.1 from www.motu.com
– Replace “HUI” in the Plugins folder, located inside the Digital Performer Folder
– Trash Digital Performer Preferences, and MOTU Audio System Preferences (located in the System Folder >> Preferences [folder]), and restart the computer.
– Use the “Control Surface Setup” window to choose HUI as hardware, and the correct midi device
