DA88 Error Rate Meter
I’ve added the following to the Tech Support Data Base
“DA88, Ver 3.10 Software features”
6) ERROR METER (very cool)
Power up in “TEST” mode
insert tape and push PLAY
push “REMOTE” and the ch1,2 V.U. meters become “Error Rate” meters for A and B heads. The most sensitive LED shows an Error Rate of 0.06 which is above acceptable. SO; If any ch 1 or 2 meter LEDs light the unit needs at least a good cleaning.
