How Do I Configure My O1V to record 8 inputs simultaneously?
In the 01V default setup, Bus Outputs 1-4 are assigned to Option I/O card outputs 1-4, and again to Option card outputs 5-8. Use the Option I/O button to assign the 4 Aux busses to the Option I/O card outputs. The 4 Aux busses, together with the 4 main busses will facilitate 8 track simultaneous recording.
1) Press the [OPTION I/O] button repeatedly until the 4th option tab ”Option Out Select” appears on the display.
NOTE: The top row of numbers in the ”Option Out Select” screen correspond with each Option I/O card output. The selections underneath each number are the various signals that can be routed to the Option I/O card outputs.
2) To select the signal to be routed to the Option I/O card outputs, highlight the appropriate selection below each card output using the cursor buttons at the bottom right of the console.
3) To assign the 4 Aux busses to the option slot, highlight and select Aux 1-4 for card outputs 5-8.
4) After each column has the desired selection highlighted with a dark box, press the [ENTER] button located near the arrow keys at the bottom right of the console.
