Note : Dry tape is best saved for emergency “head error” situations during sessions and not reguarded as “maintenance” proceedure. This will sand 8-10 hours of the head away each time it is used. The other parts of the tape path cannot be cleaned correctly with this tape. Recommended maintenance is to “wet clean” heads/tape guides by trained technicians at Alesis service centers at 250 hour intervals.
