How do I authorize my Waves plug-ins if my studio computer is not connected to the web?
It’s not a problem if your studio computer offline. You can still authorize your waves plugins via another computer which is online, here is what you need to do.
1. Install the waves plugs on the computer that is on the web. (No other audio software needs to be installed on this computer, just your Waves plug-ins. It also does NOT matter if your web computer is a PC and your studio computer is a Mac, or vice versa).
2. run the Waves authorizer for the plugs that you have installed on the internet computer and follow the Waves authorization procedure.
These steps can be found on our Sweetcare homepage (see link below) or at Waves’ website.

3. Once your iLok is authorized you can remove it from the online computer and uninstall the waves software from that machine.
4. If you have not already done so, install the Waves plug-ins on your DAW computer and plug your iLok in. Once you launch your host program it will load the Waves and auth them automatically from your iLok. You should not have to run the waves authorizer on the studio computer.
