How do I apply effects to a voice from a plug-in board on my S80?
There are two types of Effects that can be applied to a Voice on a Plug-in Board; ‘System Effects’ are found on the unit the Board is plugged into, and the ‘Insertion Effects’ that the Board uses are found on the Board itself. These Effects Units contain the following Effects:
– Reverb Unit (System): 12 Reverbs
– Chorus Unit (System): 23 Chorus-type Effects
– Insertion Effect Unit (on the Plug-in Board): Up to 24 effects, depending on the Board
The PRE1, PRE2, INT, and EXT Voices (resident on the S80) use their own Insertion Effects (Insertion Effect 1 and 2) and are assigned in a different manner. Click here for ‘Applying Effects to a Voice on an S80’
