Advice for using CubaseSX’s “Merge MIDI in Loop” function
Details about using this function can be found in the documentation and online help. Apart from the information provided there here are some more tips:
– “Merge MIDI in Loop” does only work when the MIDI track output in the inspector is set to a physical MIDI output port or VST-instrument.
If the output of the track is set to “Not connected” this function will do nothing.
– If you want to assign Bank-Select and ProgramChange values set in the inspector to be written into MIDI parts with “Merge MIDI in Loop”
then make sure the locator range is beginning at positition 1.1.1.000, regardless of the MIDI part’s position or length.
– If you want to assign Transpose values from the inspector to MIDI parts make sure “Include Inserts” is active when using “Merge MIDI in Loop”.
