Specially-designed waveguide gives you a wider sweet spot

Neumann developed a Mathematically Modelled Dispersion (MMD) waveguide for the KH 310, and it gives you smoother off-axis response and a wider sweet spot too. You'll notice greater consistency and accuracy as you move around your mix position. And the smoother off-axis response also means that your acoustic treatment will be able to do its job better, because any reflected sound will be well-balanced.

Sealed cabinet design gives you exceptional low-frequency performance

You'll enjoy rock-solid low-frequency response from the Neumann KH 310 studio monitor, not only due to its three-way design but also thanks to its sealed cabinet design. Sealed cabinets eliminate standing-wave resonances, which equates to accurate low-frequency reproduction. A bonus of the sealed design is superb transient response, giving you better control over your mix's dynamics.

Acoustic controls let you fine-tune for your room

The Neumann KH 310 sports four-position controls for low, mid, and high frequencies to help tailor them to your room or personal taste. So no matter what type of room you're mixing in, or where you place the monitors, it's easy to get a balanced sound from the Neumann KH 310 active studio monitors.

Neumann KH 310 3-way Active Studio Monitor Features:
  • Active three-way studio monitor for near-field or rear-surround use
  • For use as a right-channel monitor
  • Elliptical MMD waveguide gives you a wider sweet spot and better off-axis response
  • Sealed cabinet design for more accurate bass and better transient response
  • One-piece front panel reduces diffraction and improves frequency response
  • Powerful Class AB amplifiers give you high headroom and fast transient response
Neumann brings their legendary quality to studio monitors with the KH 310!

Very Honest Speakers

The Neumann KH 310 pack a nasty punch with great low end responce and clear mid range. the top is nice and silky a little smoothed out. What ever your mix sounds like on these guys in a good room, it will sound like that everywhere.

Highly recommend

I was on the fence between the ATC scm25s and KH 310s. Been able to use both in other studios i've worked at. Instantly feel in love with the detail and clarity from the ATCs, but the sub-bass was always a bit of an issue. The bass, honestly, sounds pretty wonky to me, from them. Everything above is fantastic, but I work as a film composer, so sub-bass monitoring is necessary. ATC has got specific feelings about bass management that make sense to a degree (basically, don't use it at all), but i wasn't about to spend another $8000 to test it. The scm25 bass that's already coming out really doesn't sound that accurate to my ears to begin with, for the sound didn't translate on other systems for me. My old Mackies were honestly better for monitoring this. I had one encounter with the KH310s and they seems pretty decent. Was still leaning towards the ATCs, but the sub-bass stuff threw me off. Thus, i've fully jumped in on a purchase of the KH 310s with this 805 sub. Now in use, honestly, i feel i have all the detail i was getting from the ATCs and the sub-bass is just clear. My space is fully treated, acoustically... bass trap and all the other sorts. Highly recommend.

Jaw-dropping sound!

I purchased these based on online reviews, so I didn't know quite what to expect. But at the risk of sounding cliché, I truly am hearing things I've never heard before. Listening to The Beatles' Abbey Road as a test was revelatory. Listening to a bunch of my old mixes from the last 30 years was even more revelatory. Sheesh... I wish I'd had these back in the '80s. Maybe I'd have a Grammy by now. Easily the best near-field monitors I've ever heard.
