Very useful. Worth it!

This little gadget has made guitar maintenance so much easier for me. Changing strings is so much easier. This is probably the best $10 I've spent on a guitar accessory. Every guitarist should have one of these.

Very Useful Gadget

I was skeptical about this one, but I did not want to spend forty bucks for the pad and stand combo, so I gave it a try. It works great. It is very light weight, and folds out fast. It tholds the guitar nicely, and the rubber padding is good enough not to scratch nitro finishes. It can be a little rickety though, especially when winding strings, but not to the point of collapsing. Overall it was worth ten dollars, and I recommend it. Note to Sweetwater - why the heck is this listed in "guitar stands", and not with the other guitar care products? it's one and only purpose is to hold the headstock while working on a guitar. Just saying.

Works but Overpriced

It's well designed but light as a feather, not a great deal of material to make one. It would have been 5 stars if it cost about $3.50.
