History of Paiste Masters Cymbals
The Paiste Masters series has an interesting history. It actually began as a collection of 12 standout ride cymbals, each with its own special character and sound. These cymbals were made to fit neatly into a range of genres, with cymbals designed for jazz, rock, metal, and other distinct styles of music. Today, the Masters series comprises crashes, hi-hats, and many specialty and effects cymbals too. It's a full range that has something for every kind of drummer.
Paiste Masters Cymbal Design
When it comes to Paiste Masters series cymbals, only the most traditional alloy would do. That's why Paiste decided to go with CuSn20 bronze, or B20 bronze, to really make their cymbals sing. The Mater Series cymbals start as Turkish blanks and are crafted into their final form in Switzerland, using the finest, time-tested techniques. The result is a range of cymbals spanning dark and luscious to bright and chiming.
One of the things that makes Paiste Masters cymbals so popular among professional drummers here at Sweetwater is their exacting consistency. From one cymbal to the next, every crash, ride, hi-hat, and splash created in Paiste's Swiss workshop is functionally identical to all others of its type. Each is carefully treated and tuned to ensure that you always get the very best Paiste has to offer, so you never have to wonder if you're getting the best from your Paiste Masters cymbals. You are.
