MOTU has announced a driver update for all of their audio interfaces that enables wireless control of the onboard CueMix mixing features from an iPad. To use the new feature, CueMix FX or CueMix DSP are run on the Mac or PC to which the interface is connected. The CueMix software is then controlled from TouchOSC, an app that runs on the iPad that allows customizable Open Sound Control (OSC) and MIDI communication via Wi-Fi. TouchOSC templates are provided with the free, updated CueMix software when it is downloaded from MOTU’s site.
