Tascam launched the iU2, an audio/MIDI interface for Mac, Windows and iOS devices. Compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, the iU2 sports two XLR mic inputs with phantom power, two balanced line inputs, an instrument-level input for guitar or bass, MIDI in and out, onboard A/D conversion, and S/PDIF digital output. The iU2 is said to provide zero-latency direct monitoring.
