According the company, the OV4 – which must be installed by an authorized Orange service technician – promises to automatically bias output tubes, continually adjust bias to ensure peak performance, and improve tube longevity. Orange also claims several diagnostic and performance-friendly benefits, such as automatically switching out faulty tubes and running the amp on half-power.
