Summer NAMM ’02, Fender released a new line of affordable,
no-nonsense, American-made rocker Strats entitled the
Highway 1. This year at Winter NAMM they’ve extended the
series to include Teles, Showmasters, J-Bass, P-Bass and
Toronados. This Tele features a 3-color sunburst finish, Alder
body, Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, 2 Standard Vintage
Style single-coil Tele pickups with Alnico magnets, Vintage
Style 3-Saddle Strings-Thru-Body Tele bridge and a gig bag.
The entire Highway 1 looked great and oozed with Fender
heritage.
