Vox Ultrasonic

Vox Ultrasonic

Designed to be “the guitar that does it all,” the Vox Ultrasonic was a thinline hollowbody with two pickups, two real F-holes, and a Bigsby-like Vox vibrato tailpiece, packed with all of the effects Vox made at the time of its release (1967). Besides the normal tone and volume controls, the guitar had a palm-activated wah-wah, distortion, treble booster, bass booster, and more! It was available in both 6- and 12-string versions but was short-lived, with the last examples shipping in 1968, just a year after its introduction.
