Toontrack has announced their latest EZX expansion pack for EZdrummer 2: Post-Rock. Recorded in Iceland’s Sundlaugin Studios (originally a 1930s bath house/swimming pool) by engineer Birgir Jon Birgisson and drummer Arnar Gislason, Post-Rock features four complete kits sampled with sticks (Rogers, Tama, Yamaha, and Sakae), Sakae kit sampled with brushes, felt mallets, and “snares off,” and six custom percussion pieces. Eleven mix-ready presets are provided, along with MIDI drum grooves. The collection ranges from from mellow to intense, restrained to dramatic, ideal for creatively painting percussive soundscapes in any genre.
