The Soundcraft Si Expression line is ideal for those moving from analog to digital for the first time, or for the seasoned pro who still appreciates an analog approach to mixing. Each console has identical features and functionality such as bankable motorized faders, multiple effects on each channel, four onboard Lexicon effects processors, and of course Soundcraft sound quality, performance, and construction. Main Features
Integrated Effects
Each input channel has dedicated processing for highpass filter, input delay, gate, compressor and 4-band EQ. And of course, each Si Expression console has four integrated stereo Lexicon effects processors providing a deep variety of effects with user adjustable parameters and dedicated tap-tempo keys. And because the effects are hardware based, utilizing the effects does not inhibit any of the other processing in any way. All dynamics, EQs, filters, delays, and GEQs remain available across all channels.
EMMA™ DSP
As you would expect from a Soundcraft mixer, the capabilities are extensive and feature their legendary audio quality. They’ve included their latest generation of the EMMA™ DSP processor on the Si Expression boards. This is the same DSP that has made their Soundcraft touring consoles series so renowned.
Analog-style Workflow
Those making the transition from analog to digital will love the way Soundcraft has made these mixers easy to navigate and taken a direct approach to assigning functions to a single button, fader, or knob, without layering. (This means no confusing navigation menus.) ViSi iPad Remote App
Control the console from anywhere in the venue using our ViSi Remote iPad App (ViSi: Vi and/or Si series remotes). Or you can even allow musicians to mix their own monitors onstage from multiple iPads. Optimize the front of house mix from anywhere; adjust monitor levels from the stage; control the input, aux, and output levels, as well as graphic EQ settings; and much more. Expandable I/O
Flexible onboard and expansion I/O options ensure your Si Expression integrates seamlessly and powerfully with other system components by using optional cards for AES, FireWire/USB/ADAT*1, AVIOM™, CobraNet™, BSS Digital Audio Bus (BLU Link)*1, Dante™*1 CAT 5 or optical MADI. The MADI card allows you to interface with multitrack recording systems and enables linking to the Soundcraft or Studer stageboxes to extend the I/O power and flexibility of the Si Expression.

Expand Your Rig with ViSi Connect Cards
Any of the Soundcraft ViSi Connect option cards can be placed in the 64×64 card slot, enabling Si Expression mixers to be configured specifically for any additional applications as needed, including the use of personal monitoring systems, multichannel DAW recording, or interfacing with audio networks such as CobraNet®, RockNet, or Dante.
Si series option cards include AES, FireWire/USB/ADAT*1, AVIOM™, CobraNet™, BSS Digital Audio Bus (BLU Link)*1, and Dante™*1 CAT 5 or optical MADI. Option cards are also available for connection to a range of ViSi Connect stageboxes, offering users a choice of I/O capacity.
