There is a huge range of pure, full, traditional organ tones, with a velocity-sensitive keyboard for realistic performance feel. Digidesign users will be happy to know that Sonic Solutions has announced a version of their legendary No Noise technology to be available as a plug-in for ProTools|HD. The plug-in includes the same functionality as the original hardware/software system, along with additional features, but lists at a fraction of the price.
While on the topic of Digidesign, they have announced a new version of software (5.3.1) with a load of new features and improvements. Just a few are improved AVID interoperability, support for DigiStudio online collaboration, full support for the 192 I/O interface, remote control for their upcoming Pre mic preamp, increased pull up/down rates, true 48-bit mix bus topology (no matter how big your session gets), QuickTime DV playback via Firewire, and a lot more.
