Native Instruments’ GUITAR RIG has been updated to version 5.2.2. This update fixes a number of small bugs and crashes. The main feature of this new update is to introduces “usage data tracking.” According to Native Instruments, this information helps them better understand how people use the software. This, in turn, allows them to develop the software in the way that best suits the users.
This new usage data tracking feature is completely anonymous and participation is optional. It can be deactivated via the Preferences window.
To install the update, start the NI Service Center app. Open the “Update” tab, make sure the checkbox for GUITAR RIG is checked, and click the “Download” button. When the download is finished, just click the “Install” button.
