MOTU Rides the Wave

MOTU has announced that Windows Wave RT drivers are now available for all their FireWire and USB audio interfaces, including the UltraLite-mk3, 828mk3, 896mk3, Traveler-mk3, 8pre, and828mkII-USB2 models. Wave RT (Wave Real Time) is a new audio driver protocol for Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7 (now in beta). Cakewalk SONAR already supports Wave RT, and we expect other DAWs and audio apps to add support soon. This new support means that MOTU users will have the option of running Wave RT, WDM, or ASIO2 drivers for their audio hardware under Windows.
