MIDI Transpose vs. Tune in Kontakt

There are two easy ways to change the tuning of all samples globally in Native Instruments Kontakt 2. If you are simply attempting to bring a sample set up a or down in pitch by a small amount to match other instruments, the fine tuning feature available in the Tune function is the quickest and easiest way to accomplish this. On the other hand, if you need to transpose your sample set to another key entirely (i.e., from E to F#) you would use MIDI Transpose, as it will not alter the overall timbre of the samples. If everyone knows a particular song in one key, while you know it in another, MIDI transpose is clearly the way to go.
