Grammy winner & Nashville Songwriters Hall of Famer John Prine has played Martin D-28s since his first recordings. One in particular, his 1968, has stuck by him his entire career. The Martin D-28 John Prine Signature acoustic replicates this most valuable of Prine’s guitars. John’s response was so positive that now, the John Prine D-28 is available to fans everywhere. Its Engelmann spruce top is clear and defined for flat and fingerpicking, and its harmonically complex rosewood back & sides are rich as roasted coffee. An antique finish, a host of fine appointments, and pearl “Angel from Montgomery” inlays make the Martin John Prine D-28 one of a kind. Only 70 of these limited-edition acoustics are available worldwide.
