Martin’s Cowboy X and Cowboy II were so popular, the company decided to do it again with the Cowboy III. Like its predecessors, the Cowboy III features distinctive soundboard artwork from illustrator and cartoonist Robert Armstrong. This illustration is of a corral scene populated by colorful western characters, including one that we’re told looks a bit like Martin CEO Chris Martin. There are only 750 of these great instruments in existence. We’ve got a few here, but they won’t be around for long, so if you’ve ever wanted to own a collectors’ item, don’t wait too long.
