Make a Difference!

It’s a sad fact of life that many recording engineers don’t have insurance to cover themselves or their families in the event of a medical or other emergency. But some folks in Nashville are helping out, and Sweetwater has joined the cause! The Nashville Engineer Relief Fund supports audio engineers in their time of need and a new project organized by Nashville engineer Steve Marcantonio, is helping out with the release of And We All Shine On, a heartfelt tribute to John Lennon featuring 10 handpicked favorites from the Lennon catalog. All of the proceeds from this CD — 100% — go to the Nashville Engineer Relief Fund.

All of the artists, studios, and engineers donated their time, including Rosanne Cash, Rodney Crowell, Foster and Lloyd, Billy Falcon, Gretchen Peters, Jeff Hanna, Matraca Berg, and many more. Marcantonio, who worked with John Lennon on his last recordings (in December of 1980), served as the executive producer for the project and selected the artists and most of the songs. Marcantonio’s involvement stemmed from assistance he received himself from The Nashville Engineer Relief Fund.

Sweetwater is proud to be the exclusive national distributor for this project. Pick up a copy of the disc for yourself — the music is awesome, it’s a fitting tribute to John Lennon, and 100% of the purchase price goes to help engineers in need!
