Mackie has launched a new family of loudspeakers designed to deliver premium performance at 1/3 the size. The new DLM series includes the DLM8 (8″ woofer, 1.75″ compression driver, 2,000 watts of power) and the DLM12 (12″ woofer, 1.75″ compression driver, 2,000 watts of power). Both feature:

Each is 1/3 smaller than a similar “traditional” loudspeaker and — get this the DLM8 weighs just 21.4 pounds, while the DLM12 weighs only 30 pounds!
On the subwoofer side, the DLM12S offers:
