Record any time, anywhere! That’s the motto of the new Line 6 SonicPort VX. The SonicPort VX is an ultra-compact, ultra-simple USB audio interface compatible with iOS, Mac, and Windows PC. Like the previous SonicPort, you can plug a guitar straight in, as well as route in a stereo “aux” signal, such as the output from an MP3 player. You’ve also got stereo 1/4″ outputs as well as a stereo headphone. Resolution is a crystal-clear 24-bit at up to 48kHz. But where the SonicPort VX really steps it up is with built-in microphones and onboard pro preamps. There are actually three mics in the SonicPort VX, a front-facing mono mic and a stereo matched pair. This lets you quickly, easily, and effortlessly capture guitar, vocals, drums, piano, a full orchestra…whatever performance you want to grab, it’s a breeze with the SonicPort VX.
