Line 6 has announced the G55 Relay digital wireless for guitar, a tour-grade half-rack system. The G55 operates in the 2.4GHz ISM band for freedom from broadcast and white spaces interference, and uses encoded DCL (Digital Channel Lock) technology for additional protection. The G55 uses no signal companding for maximum fidelity and clarity and offers up to 117dB of dynamic range and full 10Hz to 20kHz response. Cable Tone simulates the frequency response of a standard 25-foot cable. Up to 12 G55, Relay, and XD-V systems can be used simultaneously.
