Digitech has announced the Vocalist Live 5, the latest in their Vocalist family of state-of-the-art processors for stage and studio. The Live 5 can add up to four independent harmony voices to the input voice/lead vocal. The harmonies can intelligently follow chord and key changes using patented MusIQ technology. The Live 5 has a Gender Control for giving each harmony voice male or female characteristics. The harmonization can be “humanized” for more realistic results, and built-in effects include reverb, echo/delay, chorus, and flange, with 100 presets for effects and harmony settings. Each preset has an “A” and “B” setting for instant changes onstage. Guitar effects are also built in.
