IK Multimedia Amplitube UA Supports Android devices

IK Multimedia, makers of the iRig UA hardware interface for Android devices, originally released Amplitube UA for a select number of Samsung devices. Now AmpliTube UA is compatible with any Android devices running Android v4.2 and later and support host mode/USB OTG.

Amplitube UA features 21 DSP models, including five amps, nine stompboxes, five cabs and two mic positions. Rigs can be configured with up to three pedals, one amp, one cab, and one mic simultaneously and in any order. In addition, the app offers a chromatic tuner.

Note that without the iRig UA hardware the app runs in “preview mode,” allowing you to configure your setup and use it with the audio demo.

AmpliTube UA is available free on the Google Play store, and in-app purchases give you the ability to complete the rig with Fender, Orange, Ampeg, Soldano models and more.
