StudioLogic SL-990
The latest in the StudioLogic line of controllers, the SL-990 has basic programming features, but sports the new Fatar CSF (Contoured Strike Force) keybed assembly that has three zones of different feeling keys. The SL-990 also features an 88 key velocity sensitive, weighted hammer action keyboard with ivory finish keys, 8 velocity curves and one MIDI output jack.Software Update: NI Kontakt 1.5
The Kontakt download update to version 1.5 is now available. Kontakt 1.5 is available for Mac OS X (later for Mac OS 9 as well) and Windows and brings many new and improved features, including a Beat Machine for slicing and syncing loops, the excellent Time Machine II, VST automation and much more. In addition KONTAKT 1.5 provides Mac OS X compatibility and new interfaces, namely Audio Units and RTAS (RTAS also for Windows XP). Customers who purchased Kontakt after August 1st, 2003 can download the update for free if Mac OS X/RTAS support isn’t already included.
