The Plasma Pedal converts incoming audio signals to a beam of “high voltage” electricity (a harmless 3.5kV) in a xenon-filled vacuum tube. Due to the speed and nature of this beam generation, incoming signals are marinated in an extremely percussive, highly irregular, and highly harmonic type of audio distortion, whose character ranges from a smooth vocal-like sustain to a hard-gated fuzzy ruckus. Standard gain, EQ, and output controls supply a generous amount of control over the Plasma Pedal’s distortion and fuzz characteristics.
