Specially designed, small tuners present on most locking tremolo bridges. In guitars with locking tremolo systems, tuning is initially done with the standard tuners (usually) on the guitar’s headstock , and then the nut is clamped or locked down to hold the strings in place. Once the nut is locked, the fine tuners on the locking tremolo bridge are used to make any minor tuning adjustments to avoid having to unlock the nut.
