Fender® has delivered three new guitars from their compelling Time Machine™ Series, a line of instruments that are the last word in authenticity. The guitars were built to the exact blueprint of the original models, including the same materials, construction techniques, etc. of the year they first appeared. The TMS56NOSFRD and the TMN51NOSVBL are clinical names for a stunning ’56 Stratocaster® (in “Fiesta Red”) and a ’51 “No-caster” Telecaster® (in “Vintage Blonde”), respectively. Both feature Fender’s “New Old Stock$reg;” (NOS) finish, meaning the instrument seems as though it was stashed in some warehouse since the year of its origin, never played, and shows no signs of wear or tear. It’s like you took a trip back in time to a guitar shop in 1956 or ’51 and bought it there. The third guitar is another ’51 “No-caster” Telecaster® in “Honey Blonde,” featuring Fender’s “Relic®” finish. In contrast to the pristine NOS finish, the “Relic” guitar is thoroughly broken in, looking as though it has paid its dues in full, with interest.
