A speaker-level output usually found on a combo guitar or bass amplifier that is intended to drive a separate speaker cabinet. In some cases the external speaker jack will automatically disconnect the combo’s internal speaker, in other cases, the internal and external speakers can be used together. In all cases, it is important to ensure that the combined impedance of any external speakers used with an amplifier is safe.
