Duesenberg first set up shop in 1986, the result of founder Dieter Gölsdorf’s desire to merge eye-catching aesthetics with complex mechanics into a singular array of premium instruments. Through decades-long perseverance, Duesenberg has entered the echelon of international acclaim, bridging American Art Deco–style motifs with meticulous German engineering, crafting virtually every component of each instrument in-house, including bridges, pickups, and hardware. This approach has allowed Gölsdorf and his team to elevate their offerings with exacting precision, realizing and expanding their sonic vision with each exciting entry. This dedication has led to Duesenberg instruments finding homes with the likes of Johnny Depp, Bob Dylan, Ronnie Wood, Jason Isbell, John Mayer, Tom Bukovac, and more. Sweetwater had the pleasure of hosting Australian singer/songwriter, producer, and multi-genre session artist Jedd Hughes for a comprehensive showcase of Duesenberg’s electrifying instrumental array.
