Apple has issued a recall for certain PowerBook G3 power adapters. A very few of these adapters — identified by the model number M4402 – have reportedly caught fire and Apple is bound to replace them.

On this site you’ll be asked to enter your PowerBook’s serial number. If that serial number falls within those eligible for the recall, you’ll be asked for contact information so that Apple can ship you a replacement adapter along with a post-paid mailer for your old adapter.
