Incorporating features from Avid’s acclaimed VENUE live sound consoles, the streamlined S3L comprises just three pieces of gear, yet it offers unparalleled flexibility and sound quality.
The S3 control surface, the heart of the S3L System, is optimized for intuitive control. It gives you the highly efficient workflow found in Avid’s VENUE consoles, which makes it easy for you to get set up and mixing fast. You get 16 channel strips with motorized faders that provide for hands-on access to up to 64 mix channels. And it has an innovative ribbon controller for an entirely new way to trigger events or change parameters during the show.
To handle audio I/O, the S3L System’s Stage 16 Remote I/O has 16 pristine mic preamps, eight line outputs, and four digital inputs. To expand your system, simply add more Stage 16 Remote I/O units for up to 64 inputs/32 outputs! Adding more I/O and reconfiguring your system is a simple drag-and-drop operation in the VENUE software.
The engine that runs this incredibly powerful system is the Avid E3 engine, which provides HDX DSP to run the VENUE software, manage signal routing, and much more. You’ll be able to mix with 27 buses, eight mono matrixes, and eight VCAs. The E3 engine also provides DSP for a 4-band EQ and compressor/limiter on every output channel, as well as 20 simultaneous AAX plug-in rack slots!
