It’s plug-in mania. They won’t stop. Check out all these great new plug-ins we’ve been receiving.
Kind of Loud Technologies has shipped us RealVerb, the lower cost version of their phenomenal RealVerb 5.1 reverb (this version doesn’t do 5.1), Woofie subwoofer management plug-in, and Tweetie surround sound management plug-in.
Antares has rounded out the line by delivering versions of their amazing new Mic Modeler plug-in for Direct X and RTAS systems. Mic Modeler is now available for all major plug-in formats.
Serato Audio Research has delivered a few of their new Pitch and Time packages for TDM. However, demand is still significantly higher than supply on these, and for good reason. You get fully independent control over pitch and time using a new technology they’ve developed that greatly reduces artifacts. They claim results so precise that you can even use it on Dolby encoded tracks without damaging the surround matrix.
On a related note we’ve also received several versions of the new TC Works Spark XL. Spark XL adds a couple of interesting features to the already powerful feature set of Spark. You can now integrate TDM and VST plug-ins within the same session. It also comes with very high quality DeNoiser and DeClicker algorithms. Upgrades will be available for Spark users.
