Slate debuted the newest member of its VMS Virtual Microphone System family at NAMM: the ML-2. This small-diaphragm condenser type boasts the same flat, linear response as its big brother, the ML-1. But its quick transient response and easier placement make it a great option for miking drums, guitar cabs, and traditional instruments.
