Hall Reverb

An artificial reverb generated by digital algorithms that is programmed to emulate the physical size and shape of a “concert hall” — meaning a relatively large, generally square or rectangular space with four walls, a floor, and a ceiling. There are many possible interpretations of “hall reverb,: so different algorithms emulate huge, almost cathedral-sized halls with high ceilings, modest-sized halls, small halls, halls constructed from materials with different acoustic qualities, and so on.
