The MIDI Association (TMA) is a new “wing” of the MMA (MIDI Manufacturers’ Association) that is helping to promote MIDI to the public. MIDI has become a huge deal of late, as it is a part of literally billions of consumer devices. Individuals interested in MIDI can join TMA’s global community of users who work, play, and create with MIDI — joining TMA is completely free of charge.
To help promote their cause, TMA is running a contest, and you could win big! For your chance to win the #DigMyRig Contest, submit a photo of your MIDI rig — keyboards, modules, computers, drum machines, whatever you might have. The giveaway features three prize levels of MIDI gear: a first prize worth over $3,000, a second prize worth over $2,000, and a third prize worth over $1,000.
To enter the #DigMyRig Contest, simply go to MIDI.org and register as a member of The MIDI Association (no cost to join). The member portal page contains details on how to submit your photo and text showing off your MIDI gear. Winners will be selected by peer-to-peer voting. The contest runs from now thru June 30th, 2016.
