Where are you from originally? Long Island, NY
What was your occupation before coming to Sweetwater? I was formerly a broadcast video editor. I spent 15 years on Madison Avenue working for most of the big-name ad agencies. I’ve worked on thousands of commercials. During that, I also became Avid-certified in Customer Support and also an Avid-certified Instructor. But I’ve always been and continue to be a musician. I play every weekend.
Why did you first apply for a job at Sweetwater? My lovely wife and I decided to relocate to somewhere that offered a great environment to raise our daughters and where I could make a difference in an industry that reflects who I am. Sweetwater is that place.

Describe the most dramatic situation in which you provided the Sweetwater Difference for a customer: I like to think this happens every day. I really strive to make a difference with everyone I speak with daily. For one person, it’s making sure their package arrives sooner than expected. For someone else, it’s solving a logistical problem playing at a multi-band festival. Or maybe it’s helping a mother find the best guitar for her son. All of these instances are part of the Sweetwater Difference.
What do you enjoy most about being part of the Sweetwater team? Empowerment, trust, and encouragement.
What is the most important thing you’ve learned at Sweetwater? That would be our founder’s mission statement: “Do the right thing.”
