Winter NAMM 2009: Peavey VB-3

The Peavey VB-3 2-channel tube bass guitar amplifier head pumps out 300 potent watts of power, yet it weighs only 37 lbs. The VB-3 uses a combination of 12AX7 and 12AT7 preamp tubes, matched to an octet of EL34 power amp tubes for a great combination of modern tone and classic richness. It includes a very versatile EQ section that utilizes both rotary and graphic EQ control sliders, plus an all-tube optical compressor.
