Cycling ’74 is now porting Pluggo, a collection of plug-ins, to the MOTU Audio System (MAS), which is used by MOTU’s Digital Performer and AudioDesk. With their MSP extensions and a copy of Opcode’s Max program you’ll be able to build your own MAS compatible plug-ins.
