AKG’s new C2000B, a low cost studio condenser microphone geared for a wide variety of tasks. The small diaphragm and bass rolloff make it ideal for close up miking of all your delicate instruments. Its rugged design means it can be used just as well on your not so delicate instruments. Vocals? You bet. It sounds great, and the price is right at $279.97.
Newer Technology, maker of computer upgrades, has just released their G4 500 MHz upgrade. If you want to hang on to that older Mac a little longer, Newer’s upgrades may be just the ticket for you. Be careful though, if you are operating sophisticated DAW hardware in your machine you may run in to some compatibility problems.
