Langevin/Manley’s Stereo Mic Pre is an update of the much-loved preamp of the classic AM-4 console channel. Though the sound is the same, a few modern enhancements have been added like a discrete gain stage to provide for balanced outputs and1/4″ direct inputs on the rear panel.
Our friends at Korg have some updated information pertaining to the D12, D16, and D1600 recorders. The CDRW1 and CDRW2 drives for the D12 and D1600 are out of stock forever. 4X drives have become impossible to get, so Korg has posted a new OS for D12 and D1600 on their website that allows the use of 8X drives.

The CDRW1 and 2 will be replaced by the CDRW1X8 and the CDRW2X8. Sweetwater should have those new drives in stock mid September.
