If you own a copy of Cakewalk‘s SONAR 5 audio production software for Windows, the company has just announced a maintenance release that’s available to registered owners as a free download from their Web site. The SONAR 5.0.1 maintenance release works with both 32-bit and native x64 versions of SONAR 5 Producer Edition and SONAR 5 Studio Edition. New features include import and export of 64-bit audio files, a new “Mute Previous Takes” option for use during punch in/out and enhancements to both meter and track peak displays.
