Honestly, we’ve never seen any manufacturer turn out so many product updates in such a short period of time! Today Audio Ease has released another updated Mac OS X version of Altiverb, which takes it to v5.4.3. The company has also released the demo version of Altiverb for Windows and added Filmorchester Studio 1 to the impulse responses library for all Altiverb owners. This orchestral studio was built in 1952/53 as a “box-in-box” construction, where the inner box is suspended on chains from the outer box. It is an extremely silent recording environment which originally served the purposes of both communist propaganda and recording of all manner of classic, popular, and big band music for the Broadcast of German Democratic Republic (better known in the U.S. as East Germany). Altiverb changes and fixes include:
